Explore Tools
Vision Explore provides a large number of tools for data processing and analytics. Users can create thier data visualisation and analytics from Vision reports, dashboards, transaction listing and views.
Users can save their analytics and visualisation for recurring use and share it with your teammates.
Filters
Vision explore provides 3 different ways that you can filter your enterprise data providing a simple and convinent way to focus on specific data
The Member Filter allows you to choose which exact members to display for a field. The search tool helps you quickly find the necessary members.
The Value filter returns the top X results.
The Report Filter is used to conveniently display the data in the report. This filter helps to focus on a specific subset of data.

Sorting
It is convenient to sort data for a better understanding. You can place rows or columns in alphabetical order by name.
Another sorting method is based on numbers. You can sort data in the ascending and descending order of a row or column. Try this feature to sort a table based on a value (e.g., from the highest price to the lowest).

Grouping
If rows contain more than one field, one field is nested inside the other field. The inner field values can be expanded by clicking on the name of the outer field. You can see additional information in this way, if necessary. With another click, internal field values collapse.
To change the nesting order, you can just drag and drop the fields on the grid.
Some of the fields have more than one level. You can drill up and down on the levels of these hierarchies. This tool is particularly useful for looking at your data from a different point of view.
Choice of Tables
The explore table component supports 3 types of tables without the need to download the data and create pivot tables in a spread sheet . With Explore you can create your pivot and flat tables while working on the Vision ERP.
- Compact pivot table combines fields selected for rows into one column, so the grid looks more compressed.
- Classic pivot table places each field set for rows in a separate column and puts subtotals as a separate row on the bottom.
- Flat table places all fields as columns and shows the data in rows fact by fact.

Choice of charts

Choose from a comprehensive list of charts in explore to create interactive visual representation of your information.

All charts are interactive by clicking on the X-axis and the legend you can expand the data and see new values on the chart.
A drill-through feature is also available on charts – just double click on the chart element (e.g., bar on the bar chart or segment on the pie chart).
Save and Share
Build your own layouts and share them for future use, typically MIS that you need to review regularly and share it with your team .
Add a calculated value
Need to create a calculated field that is not present in the output. Explore provides you with a feature to add your calculated value. Compose a new item from existing values , arithmetic operators, and logical expressions. For example, you can use this for combining some values or comparing them.
Totals
Another useful tool is grand totals and subtotals. No need to count results yourself – the component will do that automatically. It helps to make conclusions based on some values. However, you can easily hide grand totals and subtotals with just one click.
Number formatting
Number formatting is used for changing the appearance of numbers without the actual changing of value. You can add a currency symbol, a decimal separator, and many more.
